WHO ARE WE?
City Church Chelmsford is a group of people whose lives have been changed by Jesus. We have a heart for God, one another and for Chelmsford.
Our aim is to share
the life-changing good news about Jesus
with people from every background
and make disciples who follow him through every stage of life.
We’re moving
This Autumn, we’ll be moving into our new building , Waterfront Place, right outside the city centre and with views over Springfield Basin, CM2 6FS.
We’re currently meeting at King Edward VI Grammar School.
BELIEFS
We are a Christian, evangelical, and independent church. We believe God speaks through the Bible so we keep it at the centre of all we do.
We hold historic Christian beliefs found in the ancient creeds as well as the doctrinal basis of the FIEC; a group of 650 UK churches.
Locally we are a part of “Mission Essex”; a small group of churches working to revitalise and plant churches in Essex.
